Pada Selasa 03 Oktober 2023, telah berlangsung pertemuan antara Rianda Dirkareshza, S.H., M.H. beserta para Dosen Fakultas hukum UPN “Veteran” Jakarta dengan Dr. Joachim Stellmach, seorang expert di bidang paten dari Jerman. Pada pertemuan ini, Rianda Dirkareshza, S.H., M.H. memaparkan materinya dengan tema “Future of IPR : Narrating Indonesian Legal Frameworks Amidst Emerging Tech”.Dengan mempresentasikan topik-topik dari RPS, yaitu :
- Hak Kekayaan Intelektual
- Hak Cipta
- Hukum Paten
- Trade Mark
Di mana pada topik Hukum Paten, dalam pertemuan pembelajaran akan dibahas mengenai :
- History, understanding of patents and the basis of patent law in Indonesia
- Scope, Inventions that can be granted a Patent and Uses of the Patent
- Patent Subject, Rights and Obligations of Patent Holders
- Protection period
- Patent Application
- Rights of Patent Holders and Patent Licenses
- Completion Disputes in Law Patent
Pada pembelajaran mengenai Hukum Paten, hanya terdapat satu pertemuan yang membahas mengenai Hukum Paten ini. Setelah Rianda Dirkareshza, S.H., M.H. menyelesaikan pemaparannya, supaya satu pertemuan pembelajaran yang membahas mengenai Hukum Paten tersebut dapat maksimal dan sesuai dengan tujuan diadakannya pertemuan ini, Rianda Dirkareshza, S.H., M.H. meminta pendapat dan ilmu baru dari pengalaman yang dimiliki Dr. Joachim Stellmach sebagai pakar paten, beliau memberikan saran berkaitan dengan pembahasan Pro-Kontra mengenai paten mikroorganisme, hak paten terhadap hewan, dan hal-hal paten terbaru yang berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, dan berkaitan dengan paten terhadap hewan dan mikroorganisme ini memang memiliki konsekuensi tersendiri, untuk penyampaian terkait dengan hak paten terhadap mikroorganisme ini juga tergantung dengan bagaimana regulasi di Indonesia, dan dapat disampaikan kepada masyarakat apa tujuan untuk sel hewan dan mikroorganisme ini untuk dipatenkan dan seberapa penting hal tersebut. Setelah penyampaian pendapat terkait dengan RPS milik Rianda Dirkareshza, S.H., M.H. kemudian terdapat sesi tanya jawab antara Dr. Joachim Stellmach dengan dosen-dosen fakultas hukum yang lain.
