Pada Sabtu 15 Juli 2023, Dr. Diani Sadia Wati, S.H., LLM. Dosen FH UPN “Veteran” Jakarta menjadi salah satu Volunteer yang mewakilkan Indonesia dalam Pelaporan Voluntary National Review Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2023 di UN Head Quarter, New York. Pada kesempatan ini beliau mewakili Indonesia mengucapkan selamat kepada semua negara yang mempresentasikan Voluntary National Review (VNR) mereka hari ini, kepada Barbados, Rwanda, Vietnam, Burkina Faso dan Kamboja, dan memuji presentasi kasus yang terjadi di Kamboja, presentasi mereka yang penuh inovasi dan memberi banyak wawasan, tekad Kamboja yang luar biasa dalam pencapaian target dan prioritas SDGs nasional mereka. Dr. Diani Sadia Wati, S.H., LLM juga menyampaikan pertanyaan tentang bagaimana Mr. Thavrak Tuon, Sekretaris Kementerian Perencanaan Kamboja melihat rencana Kamboja untuk mengatasi masalah data untuk memantau dan melacak kemajuan implementasi SDGs.
SDGs Center di UPN “Veteran” Jakarta dengan 16 focus goal yang akan menarik perhatian development partner untuk menjalankan berbagi kerjasama-kerjasama ke depan, FH UPN “Veteran” Jakarta menjadi koordinator dari seluruh fakultas-fakultas di UPN “Veteran” Jakarta dalam penyusunan action plan yang mendukung 16 goal lainnya. Hal ini sangat menarik, karena dari 25 SDGs Center di seluruh Indonesia, baru UPN “Veteran” Jakarta yang fokusnya pada 16 goal (Hukum, Tata Kelola dan Kelembagaan yang kuat (Law, Justice and Strong Institution). Banyak yg dapat kita kerjakan dan mendapat dukungan dari berbagai development partner, serta bisa mendapatkan masukan pendanaan dengan melaksanaan berbagai kajian, pelatihan-pelatihan terkait misalnya access to justice (bantuan Hukum), kajian-kajian perempuan dan anak; pelatihan-pelatihan seperti pada abdimas, climate change; AI, dan berbagai perencanaan lainnya yang dapat melibatkan seluruh fakultas di UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, ujar Dr. Diani Sadia Wati, S.H., LLM.
