Prof. Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, S.H., M.H.

Professor of Constitutional Law

Wicipto Setiadi, was born in Purbalingga on September 11, 1957. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Law UGM Yogyakarta in 1982. Continued the S 2 Program at the UNPAD Postgraduate Program Bandung, 1991. He continued his Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Law, UI, in 2003. Since September 1, 2017, as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta until now. Previously, he was an Expert Staff to the Minister of Law and Human Rights in 2015-2017, Director General of Legislation of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2014-2015, Head of the National Law Development Agency of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2010-2014. In addition, he actively teaches and examines at various universities at the Master of Law level, such as the Faculty of Law UGM, Faculty of Law Esa Unggul University Jakarta, Faculty of Law Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto, UNDIP Faculty of Law Doctoral Program, Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya. External Examiner of Doctoral Program Dissertation (S 3) at the Faculty of Law UI, UGM, UNDIP, UNPAD. Lecturer at the Training of Legislation Drafters, Human Resources Development Agency, Ministry of Law and Human Rights. In addition, he is also a chairman/member of various drafting teams in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and other ministries. During his time as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, UPN Veteran Jakarta, he taught constitutional law, legislation, and legal politics.
